Meaning & Measurement Mini-Conference

Mary Blair-Loy — University of California San Diego blairloy@socsci.ucsd.edu Mary studies cultural structures that define and help constitute institutions, and identities. She is particularly interested in highly salient, emotionally and morally charged schemas she calls schemas of devotion. How does one best measure devotion schemas and their effects? Her research empirically focuses on work, family, and gender.
