France Winddance Twine has recently published two new books: Girls with Guns: Firearms, Feminism and Militarism (Routledge, 2013a) addresses the impact of guns and gun violence on women: armed civilians, female soldiers, recreational gun users, and women who do not own guns and support gun regulation. Geographies of Privilege (Routledge, 2013b) is an interdisciplinary volume that analyzes the spatial and global dimensions of social power.

Twine is now the Editor of the Routledge series "Twenty-First Century Social Issues," in which leading scholars write accessible but sophisticated small books analyzing contemporary social issues.  Congratulations, Winddance!
