Case Method Website: How to Prepare for Role Play

Study what is told us about your character or group.  Then think about what your character’s point of view would be on the issues raised in the case.  You should use your own words to capture the flavor of the character in the role play (don’t read the text back to us) and are encouraged to try to go beyond what is given to us, as long as you keep within what is known about the character.
Be creative, be good actors as well as sharp thinkers!  Role playing is supposed to be fun as well as educational -- throw yourself into it!See also Student Guidelines for Case Discussion, especially the third point, about the ethics of role playing.
