Amusement Park

Cost: $$$ ($40 and up)
Fun Factor: 9
Key Words: Amusement park, theme park, rollercoasters
Description: Amusement parks range in size from as small as 1 or 2 acres, to several hundred acres. Some of the most famous theme parks include Disneyland (and Disney World), Six Flags and Paramount's Theme Parks. They have lots of rides, food, and souvenirs to purchase. This is definitely a date that you can spend the entire day having fun.
Pros: Tons of fun can be provided at theme parks with all the high-thrill roller coasters and rides.
Cons: Be prepared to walk all day and possibly stand in long lines for rides. Also be prepared to spend some money on high priced foods and drinks.
Change it up: Some amusement parks offer multiple day passes at a discount. Going for more than one day will allow you to go at a slower pace, enjoy everything and maybe even visit your favorite parts of the park several times.
Keep it simple: Go to a boardwalk, promenade, fair or other small, local amusement park.
Tips: We recommend you research the park before going. Information such as pricing, operating hours, and ride closures can be essential when planning a date. Also, wear sunscreen! You don't want to ruin a great date with a nasty sunburn.
