Anatomy

The anatomy drawings provided on this website were designed to show our viewers the general structure and shape of the sexual organs. However, there is a great deal of natural variation in color and size among individuals. If your anatomy looks different than the pictures, please do not be alarmed! No two people on this planet look exactly alike, so it makes sense that our sexual organs would have this same uniqueness. Each woman, for example, has a distinct color to her vulva: for some women it can be a reddish hue, and in others, it may be different shades of brown. The vaginal lips, or labia, may be different lengths, and very commonly, one lip is longer than the other. Men may have variations in penile length, both in the erect and flaccid states. Some men are circumcised, and have foreskins of varying lengths, either partially of completely covering the glans of the penis. All of this variation is normal and expected.

Most differences in the genitalia don't have anything to do with sexual functioning, or dysfunction. In other words, penile size doesn't necessarily determine how good a man is going to be in bed, and clitoral size doesn't limit or enhance the length or strength of a woman's orgasm. Larger breasts aren't necessarily more sensitive than smaller ones and the shape or color of the penis has no relationship to the chance of having premature ejaculation. In most cases, the way we function in the bedroom is related to how comfortable we are with our bodies. So embrace and enjoy your own individuality, and it's safe to assume that your partner will too.
