Nocturnal Orgasms for Women?
Nocturnal orgasm is defined as orgasm during sleep, usually accompanied by erotic dreams. It is commonly known as "wet dreams." About 80% of men report that they have had wet dreams compared to less than 40% of women. It is likely that women's nocturnal orgasm could be under-reported because unlike men who have ejaculatory responses, women don't have physical evidence to indicate that they had orgasms during sleep.
Although men tend to have more nocturnal orgasms than women do, listen to the experiences of a young woman.
"When I heard my teacher talking about how males have nocturnal emissions, I recalled that I had similar experiences while sleeping. On a few occasions, I have been dreaming about sex, and I have had intense orgasms that almost always seem to wake me up! When it first happened it felt like I was about to urinate, so I thought it was only because I had to go to the bathroom while I was sleeping. Then it happened again and I was more aware of what was happening, and it really was an orgasm! When I woke up I realized I had been rubbing up against my pillow during the dream. The third and last time it happened, I woke up and felt very warm and wet inside my vagina, as if I had just masturbated to orgasm!"
