Pelvic Congestion
Pelvic congestion usually occurs after a person has been sexually stimulated or aroused for an hour or more without having an orgasm. In females, the uterus, ovaries and vulva swell to the point in which they become painful. In males, the testicles swell and subsequently become bluish and painful, commonly known as blue balls. Orgasm through sexual intercourse or masturbation can relieve the pain and discomfort. Congestion subsides slowly when orgasm cannot be reached.
