Nonconsensual Sexual Behaviors
Sexual behaviors are harmful when unwanted emotional or physical pain is inflicted on others. Harmful sex can involve abuse, rape or non-consensual sexual fetishes, called "coercive paraphilias." Many coercive paraphilias are illegal because of the emotional or physical harm these behaviors cause to their victims. There are therapies which have helped many individuals gain control over and stop their harmful behavior.
