What Causes a Curved Penis?

What causes a curved penis (L/R)? Is there anyway to correct it?

Penises come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Accordingly, if a penis has ALWAYS been curved, it could be just a normal and natural variation in shape and no cause for concern. I know that men are sometimes sensitive about this subject, but I assure you, it is functionally nothing to worry about. Women mostly care about skill, attentiveness, communication and eagerness to please. Therefore, size and shape aren't the critical factor affecting sexual gratification for most women.

If a penis is gradually curving as time progresses, Peyronie's Disease could be the cause. Curvature is a result of a build-up of fibrous tissue and calcium deposits between the cavernous bodies of the penis. This buildup can gradually cause the penis to curve in one direction. Severe cases can cause pain and or discomfort with erection and intercourse. If a penis is gradually starting to curve more than normal, it is highly advisable that the male should seek medical advice. Peyronie's disease can sometimes be treated by a physician. Additionally, increasing curvature could be a result of penile cancer and should be checked to rule out this possibility.
