Xingchen Lu is an associate professor at Shandong First Medical University, China and a visiting research scholar at University of California, Santa Barbara. Her research interests include Conversation Analysis, Doctor-patient interaction and Pragmatics. Her research has appeared in Chinese Medical Ethics, Chinese Higher Medical Education and other places. She is a director member of Doctor-Patient Communication Research Branch of Shandong Medical Ethics Society and Medical Language and Culture Research Committee of Shandong Foreign Linguistics Society.
